Map of America

This is an interesting map of Southen L.A and their gang territories. It is divided into 2 groups. Red- Blood + Blue - Crip. Its fairly obvious how Crip has the mojority of space, they are known as the biggest and most violent street gangs in America. They have an estimated amount of members between 30,000 to 35,000. The map has the feel of that to an American election night, each being either Republican or democratic. The most observant part of the map is the fact that the 'Blood' Gang have attached themsleves at different places as if to try and intimiate the crip into moving out. It is also important to note the fact, what does the white blanks mean? Are representing regular citizens of America? if so its almost unbelievable to see how little they have and the fact that they are trapped inbetween too bitter battles most likely all throught their daily lives, living here.
